Miranda will be driving the support vehicle, helping out with food, arranging lunch and water stops - and generally preventing this whole thing from falling apart or degenerating into mayhem.
Sam's task is to keep Miranda company. Of course, at the end of a long day in the saddle, it will be useful and encouraging to have someone around who's willing to nuzzle our riders - and Sam may be willing to help out in this department too.
